This site is owned by "Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera", hereinafter referred to as IPMA, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Rua C ao Aeroporto de Lisboa, 1749-077 LISBOA.
IPMA operates this site with the purpose of improving public access to meteorological, climatological, geophysical and fishing activities information.
On accessing this site, the user expressly agrees with the terms and conditions below established by IPMA. Any misuse of the site is unlawful and subject to penalty.
IPMA reserves to itself the right to change this site, as well as the access to it, without previous warning, disclaiming responsibility for any damage or loss, whatever their nature, caused by discontinuity or unavailability of the site.

In accordance with Article 35 of CRP and with Law No. 67/98, of 26 October, the information gathered on Users of the site of IPMA is not of a personal kind, so the confidentiality of the visitor’s identity is guaranteed.
However, identification of the Users will take place if they perform illegal actions within the site, violating the code of behaviour, or if required as a result of court decision.
IPMA commits itself to take all necessary measures to avoid loss, misuse or alteration of the information received from the users.
Should the visitor send a message to the site of IPMA, his address will not be recorded or divulged, except when required as a result of court sentence.
