IPMA receives the visit of the army Artillery Regiment No. 5

Last October 25th 2016, IPMA received the visit of Artillery Regiment No.5 - Army, represented by a unit of 9 militaries.

In this context, a lecture was given on operational meteorology in the field of weather forecasting, remote observation (radar and satellite), and on specific products developed and implemented to support its users. After the lecture, the military accompanied by meteorologists, visited the operational center of weather forecast at IPMA.
