On the 26th October 2016, around 19:18 UTC, an earthquake occurred in the centre of Italy, 3km W of Visso, with a magnitude of 5.9, at about 8 km under the surface.
This is actually the biggest event since the earthquake that happened on the 24th August which has been followed by innumerous replicas (around 30 had magnitude above 4.0).
This earthquake was felt in some major cities in Italy, like Rome.
