IPMA GelAvista team invites the scientific community and the general public to participate in the 7th GelAvista Meeting, which will take place on October 10 and 11, 2022, at the IPMA Auditorium in Algés.
For the first time, the meeting will have a component dedicated to the scientific works presentation, bringing together the Portuguese community dedicated to gelatinous organisms study in their different aspects. In this case, the submission of papers must be registered until the 15th of September!
GelAvista is IPMA's citizen science program for monitoring the occurrence of gelatinous organisms in Portugal. The annual GelAvista Meeting is free to participate, and brings together citizens interested in these bodies, program volunteers and scientists who work on these topics in a more academic way.
During the meeting, the most recent results of GelAvista are usually shared with observers and the general public. However, and taking into account one of the great goals of citizen science, the exchange of knowledge between scientists and citizens, guest speakers are usually present, and this year will be no exception.
To submit proposals for the presentation of scientific work, access the link indicated below.
For logistical reasons it is necessary to confirm your participation. We will have more details soon.
