13th STAC & PFAC EUMETNET Meetings

It will take place at IPMA’s headquarters in Lisbon on 4th, 6th and 7th October, EUMETNET’s 13th STAC & PFAC meetings.

Matters such as cooperation between the different meteorological services, the naming of storms that might affect Europe and the training of forecasters, will be on the agenda.

Observation programs, data assimilation and the validation of numerical weather models will also be discussed as well as actual and future financial issues of the consortium.
