2023-05-15 (IPMA)
IPMA recently participated, on the 18th and 19th of April, in the AEISA SUMMIT, organized by the Association of Students of the Higher Institute of Agronomy (AEISA), held at the ISA in Lisbon.
The Institute's presence emphasized the presentation of two projects: the National Bivalve Mollusc Monitoring System (SNMB) and the COASTAL project. Videos were shown on site on the methodologies used to determine paralyzing toxins in bivalve molluscs. The occasion was also used to publicize the IPMA institutionally. It should be noted that we registered a great deal of interest in a large number of students from the 1st cycle of higher education from various degrees, such as: Biology, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Zootechnical Engineering.
The search for opportunities to get to know institutions and companies where they can undertake a curricular internship also contributed to ISA students and teachers coming to us with questions about the activities carried out. We consider successful the dissemination of the COASTAL project, the SNMB and the IPMA itself on this occasion.
