2021-03-31 (IPMA)
On March 29, 2021 took place the Collaboration Protocol signing ceremony between IPMA and Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH), based in Paço D´Arcos.
This protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the two institutions, namely through professional training, conferences or internships for students and graduates. In this regard, it is envisaged, by the ENIDH, to carry out training actions for IPMA personnel, as well as availability of internships, by IPMA, to receive school practitioners on the oceanographic vessel (NI) Mário Ruivo. Currently, some of the School graduates are interning at NI.
The protocol was signed by the respective presidents, Miguel Miranda (IPMA) and Luís Baptista (ENIDH).
Within the scope of its mission as a State laboratory for Sea and Atmosphere, IPMA is committed on promoting partnerships and I&D sharing actions with national and international universities and research centers, public and private entities, contributing for economic and social development, as well as collective safety.
