Radar observations incorporate the new North Radar system

The third and most modern radar system of the national radar network (Arouca/Pico do Gralheiro system) started its operations last February, extending this network to the northern part of the country. The IPMA homepage already includes the new radar observations, in the network composite. This became available both for the rainfall intensity and hourly rainfall accumulation products.
In due course, individual products of this system will become available, as it happens currently with the other national radar systems.
