IPMA welcomes students of Portuguese maritime college, Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH)

Students of Portuguese maritime college ENIDH visits for the first time the Department of Meteorology and Geophysics of the Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA). Students attended two presentations given by IPMA meteorologists, Ilda Novo and Anabela Carvalho, to extending their knowledge of marine weather forecast service, sources of data, numerical models products provided and research addressed to the maritime user community.

After the presentations the students group passed through the IPMA Meteorological Forecasting Centre.
